Tips for short hair Short hair is an excellent idea for almost everyone. Unfortunately, there are many people who are afraid to cut hair long because they are not sure what they would do with short hair, if they had (or they are afraid they had a look ugly, which is valid, I suppose). That's where these tips come in.
Short hair is not only the style of hair for years, the funky (although it can be funky if you want it). In fact, for most people it's actually look better than long hair, not because they do not have beautiful long hair, but because a) short hair is faster and easier to do, so they style more often, and b) the natural oils of your hair are all the way down the line with short hair, so it stays clean, without much time and effort for various treatment.
First, you should consider the shape of your face when you get a haircut. If your face is round, you probably do not want to go with a pixie cut or something super-stylish. Instead, try something with choppy layers around your cheekbones and the length that falls just below the chin. Add a little volume on top and some side swept bangs and you instantly elongate the look of your face. On the other hand, if your face is long, you can add a lot of time cut your bangs and chin length hair to shorten the look of your face. Square sides want to go softer layers instead of blunt cut, while heart-shaped faces look great with styles that on paper and the balance of the thinness of their face to the jaw.
Once you've determined what hairstyles will best compliment your face, talk to a hairdresser well in your lifestyle and what you want with your hair. If you have not spent much time on your hair, opt for something less maintenance. If you're willing to spend a little more time, you could go with something that will take a little more time. Note that all short hair styles take less time to style, but may need to be styled every day, especially if you cut too short to put in a ponytail. (That's why they invented hats, but then do not despair.)
For Pixie cuts, the best way to do is dry most of the way and then add a little gel. Use the gel, hair pulling in any direction you want, and do not worry it is smooth or perfect. Go for fun and a little messy.
For straight, short hair, be sure to use products that will keep your hair soft and smooth, then dry right and finishing with straightening smoothing products if you need it. You can also add a little pomade and pull your layers a bit to make a mess, look agitated.
If your hair is curly, use a diffuser to create loops controlled, and only use a mild, dry and bouncy. Nobody wants to be crispy hair, especially around your face and should be rocking and fun.
Do not be afraid of short hair. It is elegant, easy to make and healthy for your hair. Better a Bob that looks good every day that the long hair that you do let him out of her ponytail for special occasions.
