Mangia Bene Chi Mangia Italiano - Those who eat well, eat Italian People love Italian food.From Pasadena, California, with its sister city Xicheng (Shee-chung) District, Beijing, People's Republic of China, Italian restaurants are universal. What about Italian food that we love?
Americans are addicted to the combination of tomato and cheese. This spicy tomato sauce brightens and enlightens the heavy cheese. Or perhaps what we love the traditional flavors is that we have come to recognize that the Italian herbs such as rosemary, oregano, marjoram and thyme. Although the pizza does not really count as authentic "Italian", it is preferred almost everyone.
However, the Italian Food Experience is a plaque outside of these. A typical dinner menu may include:
Small Cove oysters on the half shell
California Citrus colossal shrimp - "Property Grown" salad of fennel and coriander
Beef Carpaccio - mushrooms, lemon vinaigrette, parmesan
Ahi Tuna Tartare - white truffle, soy, pine nuts and Avocado

Crepe Cocoa - stuffed with sauteded lobster with creamy lobster

Pappardelle Porcini - beef tenderloin, sundried tomatoes, Sage "Garden"

This menu is an upscale restaurant. As you can see, pasta and cheese are there, but with refinements, and the finest Italian cuisine features seafood restaurants, like many make their own bread daily from scratch. Another thing we like to eat, Italiano is a portion of the style called "family". This is much more welcoming to families with children, because the food is placed in the center of the table in containers that encourage people to use and remember to eat at home. Portions are generally large, to serve groups of 2 or 4 or more. Here is another example of an Italian restaurant menu :
Baked pasta specialties:
Chicken Cannelloni - Stuffed with chicken sausage, provolone, ricotta and fresh sage, smothered with Romano and marinara, and baked to perfection.
Lasagna - Nine layers of lasagna stuffed with our homemade meat sauce, and a tasty combination of ricotta, mozzarella, provolone and romano cheeses, baked in marinara is made fresh daily.
Grilled Specialties - Served with roasted potatoes and fresh vegetables
Porchetta Rustica - Herb roasted boneless pork loin topped with a rustic red wine sauce that blends balsamic vinegar, blueberries, capers and hazelnuts.
Tuscan Chicken and Vegetables - Rosemary marinated chicken bones.
Fresh Salmon with Pesto - Sun dried tomatoes, cream sauce with pesto and pine nuts, served with vegetables
Entrees -
Chicken Saltimbocca with prosciutto and artichokes
Chicken Marsala with fresh mushrooms
Chicken Parmigiana with prosciutto
Veal Limone with escarole and beans, Tuscan white in a lemon butter sauce
This menu sounds less pretentious, but food.
