Natural Cat Shampoo

I have all natural shampoo from the health food store so it should not have anything toxic in it. Is this correct? I ask this question because I dont have any shampoo for cats and my mother used to take me and my kitty look really need a bath. Please help!

Generally cats can be held meticulously clean you should not need to wash because it is very painful for the animal and difficult to do. I doubt it will be dirty enough to wash, but water would be pure fine.I will not wash the shampoo from the man because your cat could lick or get it in your eyes and you do not know what effect one of them would.
