Highlighting CapPosted on January 22, 2010. Stressing the CAP? I just bought a home highlighting kit. It comes with a cap and hook for pulling hair through, but I'm so afraid of getting hurt! Should I brush my hair back before you set sail or do I leave it as is always combed? Enjoy as always. If you paint all back you will not have the highlights in the right place. Just pull on the number of hair you want to be identified. Hope this helps. Good luck! I brush the hair straight down the middle part and then put the lid and pull through hair. but if you want big fat then points to pull as much hair through each hole as possible. Leave your hair as you would normally. (I keep mine with a part down the middle) I use the Highlight by Revlon with a cap and the hook too. You can not hurt. Need help when you arrive at the back of your head. It is easy, but the first time you do, you will be nervous that it will go wrong. When you have the spray on ur hair, and you wait to wash it occasionally take a piece of hair color and look, if the color you want, wash as soon as possible. You'll be fine. You should never use a cap on hair that is 4 inches or more, it can creat a zebra effect. it's so useful to a teacher. to do so. I did hair for a long time and I saw the bad results, and remember if you buy a box color it is not good. Do not use the kit you bought. The ceiling of everything and the hook is really outdated and it does not give you the look you want. For dramatic highlights in bold, you must go to a salon and have your hair foiled. If you try to pull the hair too thought of the CAP, you will end up with bleeding throughout your hair. You look more like a leopard.
