The effects on children and adolescents as effective as the drug may be, there are a number of concerns related to medicine and to be aware of them. All the above figures were provided by Wyeth, which introduced the drug in the U.S. market. Less Side Effects of Effexor side effects Besides regular Effexor , there are some who are not so frequent and they are classified as Least Common side effects. These side effects are blurred vision, activation of mania / hypomania., Aggression, allergic skin reactions, cardiac arrhythmia, confusion, depersonalization, feelings of depression, difficulty swallowing, drowsiness, external bleeding , frequent urination, stomach pain, hair loss, hepatitis, homicide thoughts, hostility, increased serum cholesterol, loss of appetite, nervousness, anxiety increased, neuroleptic malignant syndrome , pancreatitis, panic attacks, psychosis, seizure, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, suicidal thoughts, swollen gums, often accompanied by bleeding, tardive dyskinesia, tremor, visual hallucinations, weight gain or loss. Although the common side effects are not that serious and tend to disappear over time as the body adjusts to the medication, the effects are less common not to be overlooked. In fact, if side effects persist over time, then a physician should be consulted. The side effects should be carefully monitored in children and adolescents. Since the events are very serious in them than in most adults, they must be well maintained. Any anomaly in the behavior must be brought to the attention of the physician who prescribed the medication.
