Conair HairHow to fix a Conair hair dryer?

I have a Conair hair dryer that started making a loud noise as if something is hitting the fan inside. I took it apart and found nothing hit the fan. He continues to heat on high and low, but does that horrible noise when turned on. Is it safe to continue using it until I can get a new one? Or may be attached to it?

If you do not see what is loose, it's one of those rare cases you would be better to replace it. Hairdryer move some serious power and you can get really bad if they sleeve in place.

I am a builder myself, and it seems that you have done your best. Time to retire it and get out the wallet ...

Buy a new one. It's not worth fixing. I do not know that it would actually hurt you, unless you somehow got your hair, but hair dryers are cheap these days. Just buy a new one.

When my hair dryer starts actin funky, I just buy a new one. It is not worth the risk of something that catches fire and messin!

All the above are somewhat correct. Ditch it.

Hair dryers are very cheap now a days. Be careful --- throw it in the trash and go buy a new one.

motor bearings are worn, the time to buy a new one.
