Cleaning Hair BrushesWhat is the best way to clean hairbrushes?

I cleaned my 2 vanations in my bathroom. I came across 4 brushes hair that have become dust and dirt collector. I have soaked in water and tried to clean with a comb, but it did not work. They are brushes Nice otherwise I would just throw them away. Help! There must be a better way: (

Shampoo and warm / hot water

I take it means that you have small pieces of lint and stuff to stick the hair. Try using cheesecloth (available at grocery stores, hardware stores). It is a very loose woven fabric that you can push the hair straighter in bed brush. When you remove the glue stuff to the canvas. Keep it clean with sections of cloth until the spam is all gone. You can try dry or wet.

Soak in a hot water / clarifying shampoo solution. Clean them with a comb or other brush under water (in solution). Rinse well and let them dry on a towel for a few hours.

I do not recommend any soap or dishwashing liquid ... case of a dense brush, it will be very difficult to get the soap residue on it. Any soap residue remaining probably dull and dry your hair.

A 1-4 ratio mixture of shampoo with water will do after removing the hair. After their own, whenever you have finished using them, you can drop them in a cup or container with alcohol to cover the part that you used. That prevents re-accumulation.

Simply remove all the loose hair with a comb them, then (wait for it) put them in the cutlery basket in the bottom of your dishwasher on a short or washing economy. Not with the flat course. I think they are too big and sterilized.

Well of the hot water and a little bleach. Let them soak, then rub a little if necessary and rinse with warm water. The boiling water and bleach helps remove buildup especially if it is a fixative. Hope this helps.

I had this problem. Use an old toothbrush to scrub the bristles of the brush. You can either put the brush in the holder sliverware in the dishwasher and go when you run a load of dishes (Works great for bath toys, too) or you can fill the sink with soapy water (shampoo ) and it will get rid of any smell that persists dirty hair.

Some liquids (Dawn) of detergent added to hot water and soak, help them get clean.

For plastic handles:

If they are really dirty, you can add a teaspoon of bleach to the laundry (Tide) detergent with warm water. Soak for a few minutes (5-10 minutes).

For the wooden handles are:

"A refreshing bath for hair brushes consisting of a basin filled with warm water, 1 tablespoon of soap or detergent and ½ cup of 20 Mule Team Borax ® will clean brushes and let them smell sweet and fresh. Swish brushes in soapy water, rinse and dry. "

I learned that working at a hair salon, but the solution here at home.

First remove all the hair with a comb that are trapped between the hairs. Then, with a little shampoo to hair and clairifying in a small amount of work of water in a foam. Then, after working in a foam with the hair using warm water to rinse. Be sure to rinse very well. Then use a Towl to dry and then expose them to air dry. Like new!

First, I use the brush to get all tangled hair on the other. There are usually a few stray dogs. While watching TV or chatting on the phone, I shoot on stray dogs. When I am finished, I half fill the sink with hot water and a little shampoo. although I soak and rinse and swish ... presto ... cleaning, hair brushes cost.

Emin put the dishwasher only use a detergent and of course no drying cycle, I heard you can do with keyboards too

You can add a moisturizing hand or facial soap with water W.
