Clairol Color

I just bought Clairol complete intensifier red and purple. I also bought L'Oreal Preference Color stable MR8 (average Auburn intense and deep). I was told at Sally Beauty Supply that would be authorized to use the amplifier of the color with the color I bought Loreal. Is this correct? Is the amplifier works only other supplements online? I want a purple red and wanted to mix a little of both with the main color. If it works, does anyone have a recommendation on how to put a lot of each color, or will I just need to try some mixtures on a bench? Can I even mix together red and purple? One last thing, I have a light to medium brown hair, is a developer of 20 vol high enough? The last red in July. While the manufacturer will say no to your question, some brands can be mixed and correct. Your idea of testing a bit is the way to go. What is your goal with your hair? More purple red or more? What can I tell what color it should add more. When adding the "purple" use only a few drops at a time. Going to a higher volume will not be the most intense for very long. It will disappear very quickly. If you are interested in a more artificial and shocking color, then I would not use this type of color. You must then use a trademark prelighten as cellophane or Manic Panic. So then, just what you need to do again: Decide the level and intensity of color. Do component testing to see more results. Perhaps prelighten a deeper color. If you went to a salon that works with Wella Kolestan they have beautiful double red pigmented, red-violet, violet and red violets are very durable. Good luck.
