Chlorine Damage

I saw some questions about it but have not found a conclusive answer. So is pool chlorine damage eyes of man? I always swim with the eyes open under water and have not had problems with sight. I wonder if just in case.

Actually, I do not think it can hurt your eyes to the extent that it may result in loss of sight, but I think it may cause your eyes to become sworn, swell and become red and itchy. This sometimes happens to people for different reasons

1.) They swim a lot with his eyes open there [will be a lot Everday for about 2 hours]

2.) Which they wear glasses

3.) They have some type of allergy to chlorine.


As for the long-term effects, I have not heard of any update Visine usually helps calm.

and chlorine does not harm ur eyes as a long-term, but surely it does not cause irritation for a short period of time (1 hour maximum) .. I know because I lived it.it may be due to: -
1. excess chlorine in the pool.
2.If ur eyes are allergic to it.
3.If U in the pool for a very long time.
