Chestnut Brown Hair Color

My hair is black, but I nauturally dyed it a brown color with dark brown hair, I damage my hair if I do my roots evevery 3-6 weeks? My hair thing, but I do not want strong summer, what color should I do and how much damage I do to my hair?

Maybe a caramel color for spring and summer is just around the corner ... They say they go to the cooler spring and summer and warmer in autumn and winter.
